- Cut out a white fun foam circle for the grad’s face, a black square for the hat, and a long strip for the arms out of black felt.
- Knot the long felt strip in the middle to form the grad’s arms.
- Use a push pin to attach the black felt square to the top of the CD, making sure to press the tabs down flat.
- Glue the white foam circle onto the CD, making sure to cover the hole in the center.
- Attach the felt arm strip to each side of the CD with hot glue.
- Place a dab of glue on the back of the hat and stick it onto the top part of the CD, overlapping the face.
- Use a black marker to draw on two black dots for eyes.
- Add a touch of whimsy with a white bow glued to the top of the hat.
- Cut a square out of white paper and roll it around a pencil to form a scroll.
- Tie a bow from string around the scroll to give it a finishing touch.
- Glue the scroll into the arms of the grad.
- Use some blush to give the grad rosy cheeks with two circles.
- Cut a small square from black fun foam and glue it on as a tassel for the graduation hat.
- Hang your grad CD on a wall or display it on a shelf to celebrate your special graduate’s achievement!
