- Large wooden spoon
- White acrylic paint
- Black permanent marker or paint pen
- Small pieces of cardboard
- Red stretchy material (such as a T-shirt)
- Raffia
- White paper twist
- Three big gold buttons
- Hot glue gun and glue
- Begin by painting the wooden spoon with white acrylic paint and allow it to dry completely.
- Cut out two triangles from cardboard. Place a bit of padding under one triangle, then hot glue a piece of red stretchy material over both triangles.
- Hot glue one of the triangles to the wooden spoon, positioning it near the handle to create a beak. Place the second triangle (with padding) on top of the first triangle to give it a three-dimensional effect.
- Cut out a crown shape from cardboard, using the tips of your three middle fingers as a guide. Hot glue padding and red stretchy material over the crown shape, then hot glue it to the top of the spoon to create a crown.
- Tie a bow with the raffia and hot glue it to the spoon near the handle.
- Tie a piece of white paper twist around the middle of the spoon to create wings, then hot glue it in place.
- Glue the three gold buttons down the front of the spoon to finish the craft. All done!
