Graduate CD

This is an adorable little CD craft to celebrate someone specials graduation!

Materials:

  • An old CD
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Medium brush
  • White fun foam sheet
  • Black felt
  • Push pin
  • Hot glue and gun
  • White ribbon
  • White paper
  • String
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Wire flower
  • Blush
  • Black marker
  • Black fun foam

  1. Paint a CD with black acrylic paint and allow drying time.
  2. Cut a circle from the white fun foam for face.
  3. Cut a black square for hat and a long strip for arms out of black felt.
  4. Take the long felt strip for arms and knot in middle.
  5. Put a push pin through the middle of the felt square for hat and press taps down flat.
  6. Glue the white foam circle to CD making sure it covers hole.
  7. Then take the felt arm strip and glue it to each side of the CD.
  8. The apply glue to back of hat and stick onto top part of CD over lapping on the face.
  9. Draw on two black dots with marker for eyes.
  10. Glue a white bow to top of hat.
  11. Cut a square from white paper and roll it around a pencil.
  12. Tie a bow from string around the rolled scroll of paper.
  13. Glue the scroll in the arms of the grad.
  14. Take some blush and make cheeks rosy with two circles.
  15. Glue a tiny flower in beside the scroll.
  16. Then glue a looped string for a hanger on back and the foam circle to cover it to back of CD.
